Malaysian educators observing a Grade 8 English class

Malaysians Educators visit UPIS

An academic delegation from the Ipoh Teacher Training Institute in Hulu Kinta Perak, Malaysia recently visited the UP Integrated School as a part of their tour of the University. The delegation which was headed by Mr. Shamsul Abdullah consisted of 20 Post Graduate TESL trainees from all over Malaysia and 9 of their lecturers.

The delegation observed 3 English classes (Grades 5, 7 and 8). Mr. Abdullah remarked that he was impressed at how the students asked questions as well as how the teacher handled the class he observed. The visit was capped by a traditional Malay song performed by the TESL trainees with the Principal as audience.
